Maggie Grace was awake a lot today - after a check up with the doctor yesterday her jaundice is under control - although her colour is still a little off - hopefully she will be 100% within the week - she is already looking better tonight and has had heaps of heavy wet nappies.

smiling for mum - she will open her eyes and look around a lot and can follow Brad or me with her eyes which is neat.

in other news i am writing to the health department - the springdale water cut off our water supply today - we found the un-mailed and stamped check under some paperwork - only 8 days late - and they CUT OFF our water! Water is a vital service for keeping people healthy - without it how are you supposed to wash your hands with a new baby? not everyone has antibacterial gel on hand (I do but only for visitors to use before holding maggie) not to mention flushing the toilet! In Australia you need a court order to cut off water to a residence. Also their was NO notification of unpaid bill - they said they stopped sending them - i am SO peeved and if not so tired I would have called and given someone a peice of my mind. All the talk of hand washing being the best way to control the spread of illness, and the looming epidemic of swine flu - and the city water just cuts people off with NO warning - this is crap!
