Well things are a bit out of order with the blog, but try to follow along - above is a picture of Brad and J just before heading out for breakfast at Plymouth. We LOVE our
breakfast out - I cook each morning, but its just so nice to start the weekend with delicious food someone else has cooked! We hadn't been out in almost 2 months, so it was a real treat. Between being away (me) and working and travelling (brad) we just
didn't' get a chance to enjoy our one true
indulgence.

counting - he counts everything. one two three four five six sevvven eight nine and TEN! He also has a puzzle with numbers he does - yes every number goes back in its spot. This can keep him amuzed for at least 10 mintues. He also probably has no idea he is counting or what it means yet.

J missed his Dad while we were gone.

J and I stayed in a hotel close to the airport before our early flight to AR. (He was VERY excited to get treats as part of the package deal) I also found out he does not do well with highly processed sugar at all - he got a UTI after his first sugar filled week in AR, also last Sunday we slacked off and gave him too much crap to eat, and just like me, my sister and mother he got a fever from all the junk (ie preservatives). He will also go pretty much crazy/cry/tantrum after too much sugar. So its back to Persian rice and lentils and lots of fruit - which he loves and eats by the ton. I'd love a few rotten banan's to make my bread with. He really is a different kid without sugar - today we went sale shopping, to the post office for like and hour and then to the grocery and he "helped" me the entire day. But like any other mother i don't want him to live in a bubble - so i let him eat chocolate here and there, and a cookie now and then - but all grandparents be warned - proccessed food = crazy feverish kid. Does anyone else have this problem when there kids eat "bad" food. I know its common sence to eat healthy - but the fever and UTI make me wonder if i should be even more vigilant with his food. My mum thought that as he usually doesn't eat proccessed food- when he does eat any - he gets a reaction that is worse as his body just isnt' used to it. Lots of people say to me - but he eats so healthy - a little sugar won't hurt - and I'm o.k with this - a little plain sugar wont - but its the processed stuff - soda/coloured foods/anything with high fructose corn syrup in it. Well shit I'm rambling and there are photos to be seen.

lending a hand at share and care - i wonder if joy got any work at all done with this handful!

Oh the treasures to be found - the entire store is his playgound - and Vickie is always putting away things for his "next visit"

at home on the potty - he likes to pretend to read grown up books - i have not exposed him to the disturbing Kite Runner yet. Although we did let him watch weeds with us.

Mum and Dad this is for you - an all american eating hole. They only served Chicken and dressing which is like stuffing, but a heap of it on a plate covered in a light brown gravy and chicken. We went after church - Jackson attended with Joy while I slept at home - i had ever intention of going, but i ran out of time, and the bed was calling my name.

Arkansas

this is our favortie Kay Kay - I have latched onto her as my friend, even though she is really Joy's friend. I heard she thinks i am a bit run down - I was - maybe i should up my doseage? :) love you Kay Kay - i am o.k

Its all fun and games until someone looses an eye ..... or bangs their head on the steel bar risking a concussion to ensure Jackson was safe at the top.
