Overloaded yet?
Just in case you havn't had enough of us yet..... here is us on an afternoon in our beautiful New England
Brad does this with Jackson all the time - I'm not sure who loves it more
It still gets cold when the sun starts to set - can you tell?
He found the only elmo for miles - an old poster in a store window he spotted from the car park.

A day outside

Well Brad has been away this past week - doing great things in the world of IT. I have been staying close to home - doing not so great things in the world of a stay at home mum
Great things I got for Mothers Day
A fantastic husband to cook French toast with fresh berries, hundreds of kisses and cuddles from my little boy and a lazy day down the beach.
All in all I had an o.k week even with Brad away - having said that on some days I was SO bored. I knew there were things I COULD do - but the motivation to do any of them was long gone. So instead I complained a lot to myself about how boring it is to be home all day with a 17 month old who is obsessed with Elmo.
I have tried to beat the obsession, but it prevails and I give up. Last night we were comming home from a drive to a nearby New Hampshire town, and decided (well I didn't want leftovers again) so I said pizza sounds good. While at the pizza place Brad (aka Greatest Dad ever) WON Jackson his very first Elmo doll! From one of those machines where no one ever gets the stuffed toy - Brad won on the first try! Needless to say it was the best meal we'd had in a while as Jackson was pretty happy with his new toy. It also pleased everyone in the restaurant to see someone actually win.
- Let my not so small baby climb far to high - even for a not so small baby.
- Made oatmeal cookies - pretended they were for Jackson.
- Fell back asleep one morning - to wake and find my boy had taken a roll of paper towel, torn it to shreds and neatly put all of them into brad's small overnight bag - AND - let me know the reason why they make washable crayons.
- Again - just in case anyone missed it - I fell BACK asleep

Our poor boy Jackson has some CRAZY hair. It's almost like he has constant bed-head. I am doing my part to give him the Harris Comb-Over, but Christal refuses to cut any of his "lovely curls".

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My mom sent Christal a birthday card that talked when you opened it. Jackson was absolutely fascinated. He must have carried that around for an hour. Open-Close-Open-Close...
Christal is getting ready to plant some vegetables and Jackson was helping rake the dirt.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our friend (and landlord), Cathy, invited us around for a pre-house warming at her newly acquired house on the beach. Me and Jackson were in the backyard enjoying the fresh air. Behind Jack is a concrete sea wall with the beach right behind that. You can't get any closer to the water without being on a boat.
Jackson spent about an hour getting handfulls of rocks to bring to me.

He really likes picking out all the "pretty" rocks and giving them to me or Christal.
See ya next time!!!!!!!!!!
