Fathers Day 2009

We spent fathers day out on Beaver lake with Matt, Sharon and the kids - it was a beautiful day and being on their boat was a great way to spend it. Of course I was thinking how great I was looking for almost 7 months pregnant, but photos show now mercy - i am a whale and a whale in a bikini is a sight for sore eyes - i have vowed from tonight to eat better (we just got back from an all you can eat buffet so tonight doesn't count)

Sharon braved knee boarding and did great!

their is nothing better in Jackson's book than some snuggles from Hannah - she is almost all he talked about the entire next day "my hannah"

Brad got a workout from knee boarding - he now wants a boat too.
Uncle Matt letting J help drive
J is so into animals right now - any bug is also a bit hit - yesterday i found him holding a strange bug off the floor in the kitchen, after his examination he declared it "dead" and o.k for Fred to eat, Fred was not interested - i think he is over J's obsession with bugs.Swimming in the lake - it was heaven to cool off - I would have got in a few more times but getting my arse out of the lake almost gave me a hernia - not to mention giving everyone an eye full as Brad and Sharon tried to haul me up onto the boat.
What the boys have taken to doing on a hot evening is sitting in Matt's boat which is parked in our drive, and drinking their latest brew - which happened to have got them all drunk in an hour - the triple belgium was a big hit.

Jen handing J to the boys so we could head out and grab a cold decaf coffee while wandering the outdoor mall that is about 10 minutes away - there is only so many beer jokes and conversation we can handle.

Our great friends George and Jen - taken at Pat and Elizabeth's wedding last weekend. The 4 of us all get along great - in fact it was almost a requirement that I like Jen as George is Brad's best friend. Jen was also under pressure when we first met to like me - luckily we are like two peas in a pod - think the same and yes if I had my long hair back we also look similar. our hubbies are almost too much alike too. We are very thankful to have them in our lives here in Springdale.
25 weeks pregnant with hungry Jackson - we were on our way out to a late breakfast.
I am now 26 weeks as of today. I go for another check up at 28 weeks. The most concerning thing is a low lying placenta - which may mean an early c-section to prevent major bleeding if it does not correct itself by 8 months. I will go under close monitoring after that point. A bit anxious about it and just want to carry this baby to term so it can be heathy. Weight wise i think i am doing better than last time - i was 144 pounds at 24 weeks and am trying not to watch too many sodas pass my mouth - although hot fudge over yogurht ice cream is a frequent treat - soooo goooood. I have all sorts of aches and pains - which thankfully my chiropractor is helping to keep under control, she is fantastic! other than that not much news here. Jackson wiped poop all over his bed and wall yesterday. just another day in my own personal paradise :)

We were thrilled to attend our dear friends Pat and Elizabeth's wedding this past weekend. It was beautiful, and everyone had a great time. The wedding was at 1pm and we didnt' get home to after midnight. I wore 6 inch heels the entire time - What was I thinking?? Oh that's right I'm pregnant and thinking is for people without preggo brain.
Thanks to Angie for my beautiful dress for my birthday - it was perfect!
25 weeks pregnant and loving it!
The weekend of the 29th we were supposed to be heading out camping - but rain put a stop to that - two other couples plus us and J in a tiny cabin over memorial weekend was not anyones idea of fun - so we had a BBQ instead then headed to the graduation of Carmen, Cliff and leah.
Me 23 weeks pregnant with Gina (mum to Cliff and Carmen) and Lynda (mum to Leah)
Graduation of Leah, Cliff and Carmen - we were lucky to be able to go to Donna's who hosted a wonderful graduation party - high school graduation - i know I know we don't do that in OZ. Maybe people just like a reason for a get together? We had a great time, and were so happy for each of the kids who are now heading off to University after the summer break. The start of big things for them all.
Lovely Leah
At the graduation some family that Joy hadn't seen in years were able to come which made it even more special for the Williams family.
The graduates and Jackson

Each had a cake - which I of course had to try a piece of each - YUM!
J and Kammy in cake heaven - they are now both the right height to reach the cake table unaided.
Brad preparing to do damage to J with the hose....

The above picture is what is supposed to happen in nap time - and below is what IS NOT!!! Amazingly the fish survived - they are in the bottom left corner - if fish can be shell shocked then a giant dinosaur staring down at them sure did it. J got a time out - but i couldn't help but laugh out loud.
