Birthday fun

My friend Dina and her husband Preston celebrated their little girls 4th birthday today at the Boat Park near the waterfront. It was Jackson's first time to attend a birthday party! Dina is expecting a little boy in January and I am soooo excited for her. Since I joined Medicare we have become great friends - prone to cake eating on payday:)

Jackson with his treasure hunt find - his first water pistol!
He won the cutest boy prize - and totally deserved it :)

I just wanted to show you all how precious he is every day - and this may be the last time I can get him into this cozy outfit which has now become - like most everything else - too short in the arms and feet! When I tell people he is 10 months there is always a lot of comment - the latest was "what a lump!" and from almost everyone then comes "how much does he weigh?" - God daddy Tim always says "what a unit!" which is a bit cute. I have always cooked at home for Jackson, and tend to add high caloric food such as marcapone cheese and almond meal to his oatmeal - because most books say to do this. however he eats like a machine - he nawed 3 peices of watermelon, a plate of egg and potato salad, a tub of stewed pears, a couple of hot chips and some chicken (yes it was from KFC but we were out and starving), half a banana with oat meal, and for dinner some fish in white cream garlic sauce - plus 3 bottles. and he will still act hungry if he sees you eating! so what am I to do? i have decided to include just fruit rather than oatmeal and cut out the cheese with his white sauce - i really just don't know why he is so huge! love to everyone.

Christal & Brad,

I loved the pictures of Jackson. He is such a cutie. Hard to believe he and Kamryn are growing up so fast.

Would love to see him in person!

Hugs,

Loved meeting Jackson's Iranian Family. No wonder Jackson is always smiling. He's just thinking about the treats in store on the menu at his next mealtime.
