Celebrations!
Jackson's 3rd Birthday Party!

Balloons and a few party whistles and paper plates - and we had ourselves a party! We are thankful for Jackson's cousins, who without which it would have just been J and us! He loves all his cousins and asked if Ashlyn and Christopher were coming from Califffornnnnnia - we said they will be here for Christmas - and that satisfied him.
Parse the parcel - an oz game that kids love - especially when they win treats!

A classic garbage bag race - won by Hayes! Parker won second time round, but was disqualified for not taking off his garbage bag once hitting the fence - so Hannah won the prize.

Kammy showing her jumping skills - Jackson did not think getting in a garbage bag was his idea of a good time. The winner in all his glory!
Our Dinosaur cake was THE BEST! Made by his Nee Nee (Joy) though I made the face and spikes! I got the fun bits!

our boy and his cake - he picked out the type of cake from a picture and decided on the colors too. slightly type A personality just like his Mama.

The Bat Cave - his only toy request. He saw it in a toy catalog (all future catalogs will be destroyed) - he doesn't even know what bat man is - but I am sure that will change in time.

His first viewfinder with Where the wild things are pictures - he loves this! Especially since Pat and Elizabeth got him the book, which I have had to read like 20 times.Brad and I were pleased to have Jackson thank each person for their gift and card, he was thrilled with each gift and loved opening them and looking at his cards. He doesn't get gifts from us through the year, so birthday time is extra special and a time to really look forward too for us and him! He does however get lots of special treats all through the year from his grandparents who all spoil him tremendously!.... like with the below ride on - he was SUPER thrilled with this gift from his Grandma and Paw Paw

Happy Birthday, Jackson! Ashlyn is constantly asking when we are going to Arkansas to see her cousins.

Christal, how do you manage to have cute hair in the growing-out phase?

Maggie is just about the cutest baby EVER. I love those pics, but it makes me miss you all the more. She has changed so much.

I'm sorry about all of your tooth woes. We'll have silver-toothed babies together.

Thank goodness you had Sharon to "fix your car." I used to do that my last year in college nearly every time it rained. I must own a car whose lights turn off automatically.

Love the photos and the cake and the pressies and the kids - we had our own party just looking at them. Happy Birthday Jackson Angus - we love you.
