Hair cut

Jackson had his first real haircut yesterday - after reading Angie's blog about Ashlyn's trip to the dentist I have no room to complain ..... but i had to sit on the chair and bribe him with a lollie pop. Yes ..... more sugar.... my rant in the last post was more me just feeling sorry for myself that my little guy was unwell after I fed him sugar and crap - disclaimer below. Photos to come, J really looks even cuter now, like a real big boy.

disclaimer - Both sets of Grandies (grandparents) cook healthy food for our boy, and offer healthy snacks as they know I don't tolerate a whole lot of crap for J. Those of you who have traveled a lot will know, it is just easier to opt for the quick stuff in packages - and I do it far too much when we are traveling. I was just wanting to warn and rant. After all - that's half the fun of blogging!

Angie - Chuck E Cheese was a great babysitter! J loved all the rides and the pizza was pretty tasty! I am taking Christopher there when you guys come back - he will love it with his big cousin to show him the ropes :)

No, no, no! No CEC!

I understand about giving fast stuff when you are traveling. I do the same thing, even when we are just in the car a big part of the day. We are really working hard to make sure we have plenty of fruit for Ashlyn and us.

Stop holding out- I need to see J's new look NOW!!!
Even fruit can get pretty messy travelling - I wonder if those little gizmos you push into citrus to extract juice for cooking would work for a toddler to sip? or am I dreaming again?

What can I say!! Jackson you have grown so tall. You would tower over shorty bum Kalen. We have the same problem with processed food Christal, I allow it then regret it for the rest of the day!!

Christal thanks so much for the box. It made my day! Oh!! by the way If thats what living in America does for you I am comimg. Like now!! You look really good! I think I need the American diet.

Hey Anthea! glad it arrived! xoxo

Mum - I think its a good idea - then when we pulled over he could peel and eat as well - i cut up an orange and always loose half the juice so I actually think you are onto something! I have not seen one of those things here though - i will keep my eyes peeled.

Angie - return to America and face your demons! :)

Loved catching up on your blog! I agree with the CEC comments, however it's one of our favorite play places- forget the food! My kids get sick too when they eat too much crap. We keep plenty of junk food in our pantry, but as long as I put limits on it, they do fine. Can't wait to see Jackson's new haircut!!!
Oh, and Makena received her shoes- she loved them....thanks!
