Brad may have something to do with it - he teaches Jackson to put back his things after playing with them - even down to the last broken crayon has to go back in the crayon bucket before bed. I am not so into picking things up behind me - anyone who has lived/stayed with me for any leangth of time knows this by my trail I unintentionally seem to leave, along with the doors I seem to never be able to quiet close. But bless him Jackson continues to try to change this bad habit of mine - as Brad has now all but given up, and passed the candle to his son. Jackson closes all my doors for me - and draws and anything else - the dishwasher. He also likes to unpack the dishwasher - which I did teach him, and for which I now suffer through. It takes a LONG time for one little boy to hand me one fork, one spoon and one knife at a time.
New things Jackson is doing this week are saying "what happened?" and "MMOOOOVVVVIE"
Repeatedly. He now pretty much can say any word you ask him too, or at least try - centapede is a hard word to say after all.
He Jumps and jumps and jumps - like really jumps off the ground with both feet as high as he can. It sounds like a baby elephant tramping around the house.
He sits on the potty of his own accord - nothing ever happens, and half the time he is fully dressed. But he doesn't seem to have any adversian to it. I am not going into potty training territory just yet - but rather just putting it out there to get the idea in his head - cause I'm about done with poopy nappies already. I know i know he's only 20months - but he looks way older and his poo is huge.
Update: It is now about an hour or so after I just blogged - Jackson woke up and just did the biggest crap I've ever seen - I kid you not - when I went to flush the poo down the loo I wondered will it fit? The answer : NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Up until this point in my life I've never had to use the household item called a plunger - the GIANT LOO PLUNGER! I don't even have the words to describe my feelings right now. I will be smelling bleach for the next week.

TMI, Christal!
Pretty funny that Jackson is cleaning up after you.
Hahahahahahahaha! Sorry to laugh but I've been there! I hate those kinds of bathroom messes. Although, Max's pee is starting to drive me a little insane.
I'm right there with you when it comes to shoving shit into drawers. My grandma Muench left me a wonderful secretary desk & what do I use it for? To hide bunches of crap whenever company comes! Drives Ian crazy! Which is, of course, my purpose in life!
Love that "I'm doing really cool important stuff" look on Jack the cake makers face.
- a good poop seems to make a blokes day - why???
Boy, Christal...you are doing better than I did when my boys were little. I would never have had the patience to let them sift flour!! Way to go!
When Allen read this, he said he wasn't sure if I was writing this. I don't think I'm quite as bad as he seems to think, but I do have a tendency to leave cabinet doors open and pile things up around the house.
wow, he looks like his momma!! cute kid you guys!!
later on,
George
