Our poor boy Jackson has some CRAZY hair. It's almost like he has constant bed-head. I am doing my part to give him the Harris Comb-Over, but Christal refuses to cut any of his "lovely curls".

My mom sent Christal a birthday card that talked when you opened it. Jackson was absolutely fascinated. He must have carried that around for an hour. Open-Close-Open-Close...
Christal is getting ready to plant some vegetables and Jackson was helping rake the dirt.

Our friend (and landlord), Cathy, invited us around for a pre-house warming at her newly acquired house on the beach. Me and Jackson were in the backyard enjoying the fresh air. Behind Jack is a concrete sea wall with the beach right behind that. You can't get any closer to the water without being on a boat.
Jackson spent about an hour getting handfulls of rocks to bring to me.
He really likes picking out all the "pretty" rocks and giving them to me or Christal.

What a great kid. Looks like he likes to look for rocks like his Uncle Dave. Both a couple of rockhounds.

It took me forever to get Max's hair cut. Something about that first hair cut signals the transition from baby to big boy & mommies have a hard time with that. I did anyway. Max looked like a kid & not my little baby boy after his first trip to the barber.
There is a big difference between a haircut and getting it shaped up, just make sure that you have someone shape it up that isn't going to go all scissor happy.
Love seeing a bit of your new world! Looks beautiful! And about the hair...I have to agree with Christal on that one- you only have one first haircut, so do it when you're good and ready! In the meantime, enjoy those baby curls! Miss you guys!
I only cut Ashlyn's hair when I did because it was so WEIRD. Jackson's is pretty. Cute, cute pictures.
