Living in New England

Well I have finally found us a place to live. It's south of Boston, and pretty close to a beach. I had a pretty hard time convincing people to lease to us when they found out we had a Jackson. The ones that were keen were just a bit too small for the kind of money they were asking. So I expanded my area and found a really nice stand alone cottage within a short commute to the city or airport. It was just totally renovated and has all new appliances. It is also a bit smaller than I had hoped, but the pros outweigh the cons in this case.

It is two bedrooms with a nice size sunroom that I plan on using as an office. It has a small yard with a fenced off garden area reserved for Christal and Jackson to grow me some tomatoes. It is a nice, flat fishing community about 0.3 miles away from a lovely beach(notice: the house I rented is not in this picture!! I wish!)
I signed us up for 6 months at this place thinking that we could keep our options open in case we decide it is too small or too far away from whatever. Christal will be happy to know that there is an outlet shopping center between us and the city though.

Here is the yard and the little garden in the picket fence.

And part of the kitchen.

I will put up more pictures gradually as the place looks a lot smaller than it actually is and I don't want to frighten Christal.
:)

And finally...the reason you all come to this page:

I'm so glad to hear that you found something. The kitchen looks nice and a yard is much better (to me, anyway) than a city apartment.

I look forward to seeing more pictures. I'm glad that you are that much closer to getting settled.

It'll be great for Jackson to have a yard to run around in & the garden will really come in handy since he is such a fiend for the veggies! And walking distance to the beach! Wow! The best part is that Christal & Jackson will get to join you soon!

Congrats! I'm so glad that the three of you will be together again.

The cottage sounds cute and it'll be nice to have a yard for Jackson. I bet Christal will enjoy being so close to the beach!

When will you be moving in?
